Character Biographies

MAGUS

Magus may be known as Magus, Prophet or even Janus. He grew up in Zeal and got sucked into a portal which sent him to 600 A.D. where he was raised by Ozzie. Unfortunately when he attempted to summon Lavos (the cause of the portal) from under the earth, Chrono and his friends messed everything up. Later on in the game he attempts to get rid of Chrono by warping back in time to zeal. Magus is skilled with Lightning 2, Fire 2, Ice 2, Black hole, Dark mist, Dark bomb, and Dark matter.

To get him to join you, you must first let Chrono die and then on Earthbound 1200 B.C. Do not put frog in your party. when you get

this scene do not fight him and he will join you when you attempt to leave the cove in which he is found.

This is only if you have beat the black bird and right after you beat black omen. After Zeal is split up and the inhabitants become the earthbound go to the cove with any three characters except for FROG. Then talk to magus and when he asks if you want to fight him say no, as you are leaving he says wait and he catches up to you and decides to help you.
