AYLA

Ayla is the fighter of the group and she comes from 65,000,000 B.C. She is the person who actually gives you a dreamstone so that you can fix Frog's sword. She is also the first person to tell you the meaning of Lavos. Ayla fights with tooth and claw and she does not use any weapon other than fists. Ayla joins you when you go to 65,000,000 B.C.  Personally, I think that she's the best character to have in your party.
